Vardan Minasyan: Armenia’s victory over Russia in Euro-2012 qualifier will not be sensation

Armenia Chief Coach Vardan Minasyan said that the national team does not face problems with human resources – there are 2-3 footballers in each position, who can adequately replace each other.

The team will continue achieving success, displaying good football, Minasyan told journalists.

As for the UEFA EURO-2012 qualifier vs. Russia on March 26, 2011, in Yerevan, Minasyan said that Armenia’s victory over Russia will not be a sensation.

“Slovakia celebrated a victory over Russia, while we defeated Slovakia, thus, everything is possible,” Minasyan said.

“The friendly with Georgia in Cyprus on February 9, 2011, will be a preparation for the match against Russia. Possibly, we will play another friendly on March 5 or 6 and I will invite new players to see how they are getting on,” he noted.
