THE MAIN PART OF FOREIGN INVESTMENTS HEADS FOR ENERGY SPHERE
. The range of foreign investments for Armenia, for three months of this year has been more than $42million, 35million of which are direct investments. That was informed by the "ARKA" agency, referring to source of the National Statistics Service. According to the official information, the range of investments reduced in comparison with the first quarter of 2000 year by 15%. In January-March of this year, the range of investments from Russia, Britain, Ireland, France considerably increased. In January-March 2001, 44% of foreign investments were given to energy, gas and water-supplying sphere.
