Tigran Jrbashyan: 2010 was year of ambitions for Ameriabank

Ameriabank’s Development Director Tigran Jrbashyan said that Ameriabank CJSC has fulfilled the planned indices and joined the three largest banks of Armenia, based on the results of the third quarter.

“In my opinion, the bank’s position will be confirmed by the end of this year, while currently we are ahead of the annual plan by 10-20%,” Jrbashyan told journalists on December 8.

He noted that the bank marked its 100th anniversary in 2010, with respect to which a serious marketing action is held. Moreover, the bank launched 12 various services for its clients this year. It was also recognized 2010 Best Bank in Armenia by The Banker journal.

“2010 was a year of our ambitions,” said Jrbashyan.

As for the plans for 2011, Jrbashyan noted that goals for the next three years have been defined during a strategic sitting. “2011 will be a year of infrastructure – a branch network is planned to be developed, additional investments in technologies will be implemented,” he said.

According to Jrbashyan, the bank wants to implement activity also outside Armenia. “The format and content are discussed now,” he said. Moreover, Ameriabank is going to strengthen its leading positions in Armenia’s banking system.
