Egemen Bagis: Turkey disappointed with EU membership talks

Ankara is disappointed with the current stage of EU membership talks, Turkish State Minister and Chief Negotiator for EU talks said.

Egemen Bagis said Turkey has expectations in five directions: conduction of fair parliamentary election, visa facilitation issues, closer cooperation for combating terrorism, resolution of Cyprus issue and participation in EU summits.

He also emphasized that Ankara can help the European Union overcome the crisis, as “Turkey’s economy is the strongest in Europe at the moment,” TRT-Russian reported.
