David Nalbandian won the Almirante Brown tournament, beating Juan Monaco 6-0, 7-6 in the final.

Nalbandian will also take part in Copa Peugeot tournament from December 16 to 19, along with Gael Monfils (France), Marcos Baghdatis (Cyprus), Richard Gasquet (France) and Juan Monaco (Argentina).
