Armenia, Brazil to boost bilateral cooperation

On December 8, Armenia’s Ambassador to Brazil Ashot Yeghiazaryan handed over his credentials to President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

During the meeting, the President of Brazil expressed belief that Yeghiazaryan will contribute to the development of the Armenian-Brazilian relations.

The newly appointed Ambassador noted for his part that he will do his utmost to expand and boost cooperation and friendly ties between the two countries.

The two men also referred to the trade and economic relations between the two countries, as well as necessity to expand them.

They also discussed development of cooperation in scientific, cultural and humanitarian fields, the RA MFA press service reported.
