A number of governmental and private programs aimed at reduction of unemployment rate are to be implemented jointly with international structures and banks, the head of Public Employment Service agency Sona Harutyunyan stated.

“A number of programs were implemented in the framework of 2010 governmental projects for employment rate increase,” she told a news conference in Yerevan. “As a result of the program entitled Provision of Compensation to Employee in Case of Employing Noncompetitive Persons, 80 disabled persons found jobs,” Ms. Harutyunyan noted.

“Since the beginning of 2010, 6 Job Fairs were held in Gavar, Vanadzor, Ijevan, Gyumri, Abovyan and Yerevan resulting in employment of 450 people,” she added.
