Yerevan hosts a forum of innovative teachers, with 58 projects presented.
“The use of IT in the educational process should not diminish the importance of teacher,” said Manuk Mkrtchyan, Deputy Minister of Education and Science. “We can’t introduce innovative technologies in the outdated education system.”
According to Partners in Education program manager Christine Genjyan, 20 best projects were selected for consideration of the jury.
The winner will take part in the European Innovative Teachers Forum in Moscow. Besides, there are prizes envisages for the best 2 projects and a special award from ArmenTel company.
The protocol on participation in Partners in Education program was signed by Microsoft and the RA Ministry of Education and Science in 2009.
