Azerbaijani Defense Industry Ministry conducts negotiations with Turkish Otokar Company on production of armoured vehicles, said Defense Industry Minister Yaver Jamalov.

Defense Industry Ministry and Otokar signed a protocol of intentions on production of joint technique in October 2010. Otokar is engaged with the design, development and manufacturing of light armored tactical vehicles. Otokar has the state of the art armored vehicle testing and production capability. The current product range comprises light armoured 4x4 vehicles in various configurations including Cobra, Akrep, Otokar APV, and Otokar Discreetly Armoured Station Wagon, APA reported.
