To detect the reasons for egg deficit, the local market should be investigated, according to chairman of the Armenian parliamentary committee on agriculture and environment protection.

“The problem should first of all be addressed by the State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition,” Khachik Harutyunyan told journalists on December 28.

Commenting on dismissal of Agriculture Minister Gerasim Alaverdyan, he said that Orinats Yerkir party debates designation for the post and the name of the Minister will be announced within a couple of days.
