Tigran Sargsyan: Armenia should secure progress in its relations with EU

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan presided over a government meeting on efficiency of EU instruments application.

“It is important that our institutions and ministries have a clear idea, first, about the tasks set before them as part of the National Program, second, the set of instruments offered by the EU during implementation of measures as part of the national program, as well as how certain ministries will be able to use technical and financial assistance that we will receive,” the PM said.

The National Indicative Program for 2011-2013 was approved in March 2010.

Mr. Sargsyan stressed the importance to secure progress in relations with the EU.

Participants submitted offers with respect to efficient application of the EU instruments.

Summarizing the results of the meeting, the Prime Minister gave relevant instructions to heads of institutions, the governmental press service reported.
