Turkey State Minister & chief negotiator for EU talks Egemen Bagis said that Turkey would be ready to become a full member of the EU by the end of 2013. "The EU cannot take any political steps because of impacts of the global financial crisis. We have a national program. And we will be ready to become a full member of the EU in 2014. What is important for us for the time being is to catch the Union's standards," he said, Yeni Safak reported.
