The plans to sign all contracts on Nabucco gas pipeline project by 2011 are unrealistic, according to chairman of the Oil Research Center.

“The project feasibility study is not completed yet. Moreover, engineering works are still under way,” Ilham Shaban said.

Meanwhile, he described the upcoming visit of European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso to Ashgabat and Baku will signal political support to the project.
