Prices for eggs increased 8,4% in Armenia in December 2010

The prices for foodstuffs in Armenia increased 14% in December compared to the same period in 2009.

According to the Armenian National Statistical Service, the inflation is mostly conditioned by 8,4-18,8% rise in prices for eggs, fruits and vegetables.

Prices for grapes grew 22,5%, pomegranates - 24,5%, apples - 42,1% and pears 47,8%.

The prices for eggs in December 2010 increased 8,4% compared to November and 25,7% compared to the same period in 2009. The prices for dairy products grew 21,1%.
