Chairman of the RA Public Council’s (PC) committee on consumers’ rights protection Arshak Sadoyan said that the PC presented a new website on January 12, which is aimed at revealing public opinion in all fields.

“We want to create a public opinion base,” Sadoyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

According to him, people need to register on the website (sociology.am) to cast their votes.

Sadoyan noted that lottery draws will be organized to encourage users. The first drawing will be organized on January 12 among those people, who participated in voting dedicated to the New Year costs.

Sadoyan added that a public opinion poll was already organized concerning supermarkets. Based on its results, Yerevan City was the first, followed by Fresh. Meanwhile, Star chain of supermarkets was only the seventh.

A public opinion poll is conducted concerning dairy and meat products, alcoholic beverages and mineral waters. The list is planned to be enlarged.
