Karabakh has lots of precedents to draw upon, the referendum in South Sudan being one of them, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian believes.

“Most of 192 UNO member states can serve as a precedent of people’s right for self determination. Recent events in South Sudan proved that the fulfillment of people’s right for self determination cannot be hampered against the latter’s will or through use of violence or extermination,” the Foreign Minister told a news conference in Yerevan.
