Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan departed for Cyprus on a formal visit on invitation of his counterpart Dimitris Christofias.
The presidential meeting behind closed doors will be followed by expanded talks. A number of agreements on bilateral cooperation in various fields are expected to be signed.
President Sargsyan will also take part in the opening ceremony of Cypriot-Armenian business forum, as well as meet with House of Representatives speaker Marios Garoyan and members of the Armenian community, the presidential press office reported.
