President Sargsyan confirms Armenia’s adherence to peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict

To normalize relations, Armenia attempted to compromise with Turkey, however failing to see adequate political will on behalf of Ankara, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stated.

As the Armenian leader stressed at news conference in Athens, to join EU, Ankara should come to terms with its past and establish civilized relations with neighbors.

As the President noted, during the meeting with his Greek counterpart, he confirmed Armenia’s adherence to peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict, within OSCE MG framework.

Dwelling on Armenia-Greece cooperation, President Sargsyan stressed the readiness of both countries to develop bilateral cooperation in various sectors, as well as in the framework of international organizations, presidential press service reported.
