AMD 1bln will be assigned for implementation of Computer for All program, Armenian Minister of Finance said.

“The decision followed successful realization of the pilot,” Vache Gabrielyan said during a government meeting.

The official startup ceremony of Computer for All program took place in Yerevan on December 8, 2010. According to Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the program was one of the government’s priorities in 2010. The program costs $6 million, of which $3 million will be allocated by the World Bank and another $3 million by the Armenian government. The number of trade points is supposed to reach 100.
