The office of the RA Human Rights Defender said that the reports in the Armenian media that the EU has allocated €1mln grant to the RA Ombudsman’s office are untrue.

“The European Union has allocated €1mln only to the French and Spanish ombudsmen under Twinning program. The Armenian Ombudsman’s office has never had any relation to distribution of these funds,” the office of the RA Human Rights Defender told PanARMENIAN.Net.
