CoE Commissioner for Human Rights Thomas Hammarberg will prepare a report based on the results of his four-day visit to Armenia.

Hammarberg told a press conference in Yerevan that the March 2008 events, tragic incidents in the RA Armed Forces, as well as freedom of speech and press were on the agenda of his visit to Armenia.

“I held discussions on all these matters with the Armenian leadership, met with the RA President, Foreign Minister, Minister of Justice, Prosecutor General, Military Prosecutor, coalition forces and extra-parliamentary opposition,” said Hammarberg.
