The National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) approved the action plan for 2011 during its 18th meeting in the RA government.
As NCFA Chief Executive Officer Pegor Papazian told a briefing after the meeting, education will be a priority simultaneously with the implementation of the current programs.
“The budget will exceed that of 2010. It will consists of two components: current expenses and target financing of each project, specifically the Tatev Revival Project, the budget of which totaled $20mln in 2010 and will be increased by several millions in 2011. Additional 3 mln euro will be allocated for the development of nuclear medicine,” he said.
The amount of funds for educational programs financing has not been determined yet.
