MIT publishes 10 emerging technologies 2010

Technology Review published by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) selected what it believes are the 10 most important emerging technologies of 2010.

It included real time search and social networking, first mobile phone with 3D image (Samsung B710), engineered stem cell (Cellular Dynamics company), solar fuel - Joule Biotechnologies' genetically engineered microorganisms can turn sunlight into ethanol or diesel, technologyreview.com reported.

Technology Review also outlined usage of nanotechnologies in solar power - Light-Trapping Photovoltaics; social TV (relying on relationships to rebuild TV audiences); green concrete (storing carbon dioxide in cement); implantable electronics (dissolvable devices make better medical implants); dual-action antibodies (fighting cancer more efficiently); cloud programming (a new language will improve online applications).
