Cavusoglu re-elected as PACE president

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) re-elected Turkish lawmaker from the ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party, Mevlut Cavusoglu as its president for one more year.

The Assembly named its vice-presidents as Jose Vera Jardim (Portugal), Konstantinos Vrettos (Greece), Joachim Horster (Germany), Robert Walter (United Kingdom), Jean-Claude Mignon (France), Sinikka Hurskainen (Finland), Frank Fahey (Ireland), Tiny Kox (the Netherlands), Gebhard Negele (Liechtenstein), Karin S. Oldseth (Norway), Luigi Vitali (Italy), Dariusz Lipinski (Poland), Andris Berzins (Latvia), Emanuelis Zingeris (Lithuania), Ana Gucu (Moldova), Konstantin Kosachev (Russian Federation), Marton Braun (Hungary), Ivan Popescu (Ukraine), Petre Tsiskarishvili (Georgia) and AK Party Erol Aslan Cebeci (Turkey), the Anatolian Agency reported.
