Alexander Iskandaryan: Davutoglu’s statements are political rhetoric

Director of Caucasus Institute, political analyst Alexander Iskandaryan said that the statements by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu are just a political rhetoric, a part of his policy.

Iskandaryan reminded that the policy of Davitoglu and the ruling Justice and Development Party is based on the principle of “zero problems with neighbors.”

“While his statements that Armenia and Turkey are not enemies, but potential friends, are mere words, which are aimed at increasing Turkey’s influence in the neighbor countries. Similar rhetoric is addressed not only to Armenia,” Iskandaryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
