CCAF: Turkey laughs at French laws

The CCAF (Co-ordination Council of the Armenian Organizations of France) condemned Turkish President Abdullah Gul, who during his speech before the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, on January 25, 2011, in Strasbourg, denied the Armenian Genocide.

"Turkish President Abdullah Gul dared his provocative statement in France, the country which recognized the Armenian Genocide in 2001. Turkey seems to laugh at laws of the French Republic,” CCAF said in a statement.

French journalist Jean Eckian told PanARMENIAN.Net that on Sunday, January 30, historians, scientists, academics, lawyers and French journalists will gather in Paris for a symposium titled "Understand and Fight the Negationism."
