The return of medicines is forbidden by the law in Armenia; they can be sent for utilization, the cost of which may exceed the cost of medicine by 20 (!) times.
What should be done? Experts believe that a center for utilization of medicines should be created in Armenia, what requires the state’s assistance.
The tariffs set for utilization should be affordable, for example, at around 10% of medicine’s cost, so that drugstores are interested in their utilization.
Presently, drugstores prefer to throw them away, what causes damage to the environment.
