Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration Vache Terteryan said that, as part of the policy on financial equalization of subsidies, the Armenian government made a first-ever decision to set the amount of subsidies above the envisaged 4% of the state budget actual revenues in 2010.
Subsidies totaled 32bln or 4.6% of the state budget actual revenues in 2010 against AMD 28bln, Terteryan told a press conference in Yerevan.
“In other words, the 4% level of subsidies was surpassed for the first time over the past 10 years,” Terteryan said, adding that the level of subsidies will be maintained also in 2011.
