Armenia, Ireland boost political dialogue, trade and economic ties

Newly appointed Irish Ambassador to Armenia John Rowan (residence in Sofia) handed over copies of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, Nalbandian expressed hope that Rowan will contribute to the development of the Armenian-Irish relations.

The two men attached importance to bilateral political dialogue, intensification of trade and economic ties, as well as expansion of the legal-contractual basis.

Besides, cooperation within the framework of international organizations, including Eastern Partnership, was in the focus of the meeting.

The parties also referred to regional problems, the RA MFA press service reported.
