On February 9, Russia’s football team will play vs. Iran in a friendly in Abu Dhabi prior to its match with Armenia in the UEFA EURO-2012 qualification group due March 26 in Yerevan.

The official website of the Russian Football Union quoted forward of the Russian team and Stuttgart FC Pavel Pogrebnyak as saying that the match with Iran is important and Russia needs to taste victory prior to the match vs. Armenia.
