Georgian expert Nika Chitadze said that different foreign policy priorities of Armenia and Georgia will hardly affect bilateral relations.
The fact that Georgia aspires towards NATO, while Armenia is a CSTO member state will not hinder relations between the two neighboring states, Chitadze told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
“The countries have mutual interests. 70% of Armenia-bound cargo is transported via Georgia. In its turn, Georgia is interested in stabilization of Samtskhe-Javakheti, while Armenia may play a positive role in the matter. Besides, joint infrastructural projects are implemented, including construction of a new motor road,” he concluded.
