The annual meeting of the EBRD’s Board of Governors will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, on May 20-21, 2011.

The Governors will review the EBRD’s activities to support recovery in the region and give strategic guidance on the Bank’s operations in the period ahead. The Board of Governors sessions will be staged alongside the established Business Forum program, launched this year under the theme “Supporting Markets – Asia Meets Europe”.

The event will bring together investors, policy-makers, bankers, journalists, NGO representatives and government officials for an extensive program of: challenging and insightful discussion panels; opportunities to exchange views with the people who make things happen across the EBRD region; up-to-the minute facts, expertise and forecasts and numerous networking opportunities.
