Wings of Tatev longest reversible passenger aerial tramway to resume daily operation March 1

The National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) reported that Wings of Tatev, the longest reversible passenger aerial tramway in the world, will resume its daily operation on March 1.

The decision was prompted by favorable weather conditions in Syunik region of Armenia. In February the passenger aerial tramway operated on weekends only.

The passenger aerial tramway has already transported 10,000 passengers since its launch on October 23, 2010, including residents of neighboring communities (30%), the NCFA press service reported.
