EBRD: Georgia most anti-corrupt state in Europe

EBRD Vice President Jan Fischer said that Georgia is the most anti-corrupt state in Europe.

Fischer made this statement during a meeting with Georgian State Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze, who participates in Ukraine-EU international forum as a special guest, according to the office of the Georgian State Minister for European Integration.

Fischer stated that, according to an independent analysis held by the EBRD worldwide, Georgia is the most anti-corrupt state.

Fischer added that Georgia is continuously developing despite the global crisis.

He said the bank will continue supporting Georgia and take into consideration the requests of Georgia to focus on financial assistance to the private sector, Gruzia Online reported.
