Nuri Al-Mismari, former Libyan head of protocol, said that now Muammar Gaddafi is completely alone.

"Alone, absolutely alone. There is no-one. And the people around him now are his sons and a few officials who have committed crimes, who are afraid of being judged for the crimes they have done, after Gaddafi's downfall," Al-Mismari said in an interview with Euronews.

Asked whether Gaddafi can use chemical weapons against the demonstrators, Al Mismari said: "This man said: 'I have not used real force yet.' Are there other forces than tanks and armored vehicles and submachine guns and the use of aircraft to bombard the ground? Chemical weapons are all that are left! And I hope he does not use them.”

Al-Mismari went on saying: “The revolutionaries are going to win. The young people in this revolution are going to cry victory. There will be victims, martyrs, but they are going to win.”

Asked whether one can say these are the final moments of Gaddafi's regime, Al-Mismari said: “Absolutely.”
