NKR PRESIDENT THINKS THERE IS A REAL POSSIBILITY TODAY TO SETTLE THE KARABAKH DISPUTE
YEREVAN, April 17. /Mediamax/. President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Arkady Ghukasian said today in Stepanakert at the meeting with the assistants to American congressmen that "there is a real possibility today to achieve the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, and I am optimistic about it".
As Mediamax was informed in the press office of NKR president, Arkady Ghukasian said also that favorable conditions for the settlement of the problem are created today. "The interest of the Great Powers in the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh problem and in the establishment of stability in the region is more than obvious today", NKR president said.
At the meeting, Arkady Ghukasian expressed gratitude to the U.S. Congress for the moral and material assistance to the people of Nagorno Karabakh. He stressed that it is necessary to provide equal and dynamic development of the whole region.
The delegation of the representatives of American congressmen came to NKR at the initiative of the Armenian Assembly of America. --0--
