Armenia-Russia-Azerbaijan meeting will determine steps for Karabakh conflict settlement

The Armenia-Russia-Azerbaijan presidential meeting due March 5 in Sochi will determine further steps for the settlement of Karabakh conflict, according to Russian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman.

“In 2010, Sochi, St. Petersburg and Astrakhan hosted trilateral meetings. These meetings allowed approximating the positions of the conflicting parties and strengthening of trust,” Alexander Lukashevich said.

As the diplomat noted, in Astrakhan, Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents expressed readiness to continue work on main principles of Karabakh conflict settlement.

“We believe, that the oncoming meeting in Sochi will allow the presidents to analyze the results of the work done and determine the further steps for mutually acceptable solution to Karabakh issue,” ITAR-TASS quoted him as saying.
