Armenia’s Emmy to perform song Boom-Boom at Eurovision 2011

Armenian singer Emmy will present Armenia at the Eurovision 2011 with her song Boom-Boom. The song was selected on March 5 on Public Television of Armenia through SMS voting and professional jury decision.

Armenia’s Emmy will participate in the first semi-final of the Eurovision 2011 on May 10, according to the Semi-Final Allocation Draw for the song contest.

Representatives of Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Finland, Norway, Lithuania, Portugal, Serbia, San Marino and other countries will perform on the same day.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2011 will be the 56th annual Eurovision Song Contest. It will take place in Dusseldorf, Germany, following Germany's win in the 2010 Contest. The contest will be held in Dusseldorf's Esprit Arena, which beat out three challenging venue locations across Germany in a bidding phase in late 2010.
