The OSCE Minsk Group’s initiative on investigation of incidents on the line of contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijani armed forces will help call the conflicting parties to discipline, according to the director of the Armenian subsidiary of the Institute of CIS Studies.

Commenting on the Armenian-Azerbaijan-Russia presidential meeting in Sochi, Alexander Markarov noted that minor, yet important progress was observed. As he told a news conference in Yerevan, no drastic steps in Karabakh issue are to be expected in view of oncoming elections both in Armenia and Azerbaijan.
