NKR MP advises his Lithuanian colleagues to refrain from biased assessments on Karabakh

Chairman of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic National Assembly standing committee on foreign relations Vahram Atanesyan advised the Lithuanian parliament to refrain from biased assessments on the situation around the Karabakh conflict.

There is an international format – the OSCE Minsk Group – for the Karabakh conflict settlement, and this format cannot be subjected to correction, Atanesyan told a press conference in Yerevan, answering a question of a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Hopefully, the resolution will be either rejected by the Lithuanian parliament or adopted in another wording, Vahram Atanesyan said.

PanARMENIAN.Net reported earlier that the resolution, which most likely will be discussed by the Lithuanian parliament in March 2011, refers to the principles of territorial integrity, non-use of force during conflicts resolution and human rights. The document cites the European Parliament’s 2010 resolution on Karabakh that has caused indignation in Armenia.
