YEREVAN, April 2. /Mediamax/. President of Armenia Robert Kocharian signed on March 31 the decree of awarding orders and medals to a large group of representatives of creative intelligentsia, Mediamax was informed today in the presidential press office.
Composers Alexander Harutyunian and Edward Mirzoyan were awarded the order of St. Mesrop Mashtots for "outstanding services in the sphere of Armenian musical art". Musician Jivan Gasparian is awarded the order of St. Mesrop Mashtots "for outstanding services in Armenian national music".
Movses Khorenatsi medals for outstanding achievements in the sphere of national culture are given to: actor Gevorg Ashughian, Professor of Yerevan state theatre and cinema institute Kim Arzumanian, chief ballet master of State Academy Opera and Ballet theatre Vilen Galstian, actress of Yerevan Young Spectator Theatre Ninel Dallakian, singer Bella Darbinian, artist Robert Elibekian, writer Karo Karapetian, actor Ashot Ghazarian, Art director of State Choreography theatre Maxim Martirosian, singer Raisa Mkrtchian, producer of chief cultural programs board of the Public TV Grigor Chalikian, Art Director of State Dance Ensemble Suren Chanchurian, Professor of Yerevan state theatre and cinema institute Hrachuhi Jinasian, producer of Yerevan Young Spectator Theatre Zaven Tatintsian and actor of Yerevan Drama Theatre Rafael Kotanjian.
Art director and chief producer of Moscow Armenian chapel Ninel Andriasova is awarded Movses Khorenatsi medal for "considerable contribution to consolidation of Armenian-Russian ties" by a special order of the Armenian President. --0--
