Azeri Deputy FM, who slammed Turkey for signing Protocols, is “accountable for every word”

Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov expressed his position on his statement to the interview of Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic.

“I am accountable for my each word and all my words are well-grounded. As to the statement of Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan, I do not consider necessary and possible to react to it”.

Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister told Turkish “CNN-Turk” TV channel that, Ankara complicated the settlement of Karabakh conflict, signing the Zurich protocols: “These protocols have created a crisis situation for us. On the other hand normalization process was also suspended and no progress was achieved in the Karabakh peace process.”

Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic, who expressed his position to Azimov’s words, told journalists that Azimov’s words reflect his personal opinion: “Turkey’s policy is a strong policy. In any case I think he is wrong,” APA reported.
