On March 24, third-round matches of the 12th European Individual Chess Championship were held in Aix-lex-Bains (France).

Armenia’s GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan celebrated his third consecutive victory in the round, and currently shares the 1st-11th places.

Zaven Andriasian, Hrant Melkumyan and Avetik Grigoryan, who tied their games in the round, scored 2.5 points each.

Gabriel Sargissian, Arman Pashikyan and Vladimir Akopian scored 2 points each, Robert Hovhannisyan – 1.5 point.
