“Peace, Security and Stability in South Caucasus” conference was held in the French parliament on March 25 on the initiative of Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) and Armenian organizations in France.
“Peace and stability on the South Caucasus are not mere words but a pressing problem for the entire region and the international community. These can be guaranteed only if the countries of the region enjoy neighborly relations,” SDHP chairman Sedrak Achemian said in his remarks.
As to Azerbaijan’s aggressive behavior, he said: “Should Baku unleash a new war in Karabakh, it will cause irreversible processes not only in Azerbaijan but throughout the region.”
