A meeting between the Surpreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Sheikh-al-Islam, Grand Mufti of the Caucasus Allahshukur Pashazadeh may take place in November 2011, as scheduled, echo-az.com reported citing Interfax.

“On November 28-30, Etchmiadzin will host a sitting of the CIS Interreligious Council, co-chaired by Pashazadeh,” the head of the department for inter-church relations at Etchmiadzin, Bishop Hovakim Manukyan stated, not ruling out a meeting between the two religious leaders within Council sitting framework.
