Armenia, Artsakh’s Universities expand cooperation

On April 1, the President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met with a Yerevan State University delegation, headed by the University rector Aram Simonyan.

Issues related to the development of higher education in the NKR and cooperation between Alma Maters of Armenia and Artsakh were discussed during the meeting.

Artsakh leader emphasized the necessity of deepening relations with Yerevan State University and steady widening its engagement in the live of NKR.

Minister of education and science of the Artsakh Republic Vladik Khachatryan, rector of Artsakh State University Stephan Dadayan and other officials partook at the meeting.

On the same day, Artsakh President met with the minister of education and science of the Republic of Armenia Armen Ashotyan to discuss cooperation between the two Armenian states in the secotir of education.

President Sahakyan stressed the necessity of strengthening bilateral relations and more efficient application of the nation’s intellectual potential noting that it was considered among the most reliable preconditions for both developing the sphere of education and science and further strengthening the Armenian statehood.

Artsakh Republic minister of education and science Vladik Khachatryan was present at the meeting, Central Information Department at Artsakh President’s Office reported.
