Member of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group, head of the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs, Hrayr Karapetyan said that all those countries, which supply arms to Azerbaijan, are responsible for possible escalation of the situation in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone.

Currently, Turkey and CIS countries, including CSTO member states, continue intensively arming Azerbaijan, Karapetyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

“Ukraine and Belarus, which is Armenia’s ally in the CSTO, are among countries supplying arms to Azerbaijan. As a co-chairman of the Armenian-Belarusian inter-parliamentary commission, I will leave for Belarus soon, where I will meet with the country’s Prime Minister and Speaker of the parliament to discuss the matter,” Karapetyan concluded.
