Armenia’s Smbat Margaryan won the clean & jerk bronze at the European Weightlifting Championships, which kicked off in Kazan, Russia.

Having unsuccessfully performed the snatch (105kg), Margaryan finished 9th, lifting 254kg in the snatch and clean& jerk combination. Moldova’s Oleg Sigri grabbed gold with 265kg.

Elen Grigoryan will enter competition on April 12.
