Expert: Armenia, Turkey to resume normalization after parliamentary elections

Board chairman of Analytical Center on Globalization and Regional Cooperation, political analyst Stepan Grigoryan said that the Armenian-Turkish normalization will be intensified after the parliamentary elections in the two countries.

The process resumption will be within the interests of both Armenia and Turkey, Grigoryan told a press conference in Yerevan.

According to him, the process is currently frozen by Armenia. And it has been Armenia’s reasonable action. “Now the ball is with Turkey. I strongly believe that the process will be intensified after parliamentary elections in the two countries,” concluded Grigoryan.
