Asian Development Bank (ABD) jointly with 6 Armenian banks (Ameriabank, Anelik, Ardshininvestbank, Armeconombank, Converse Bank, Unibank) signed an agreement on the launch of trade development program in Armenia.

Stephen Wermert, Head of Regional Business Development for Central Asia and the South Caucasus, characterized the program as unprecedented where the number of participating banks is concerned.

As he noted, the ADB trade financing program is being implemented in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, also to be launched in Georgia this week. During current year, the program will be launched in the remaining countries of Central Asia and the South Caucasus.
